Jake Fairly oozed forth upon the Denver comics scene from the catacombs of the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design. Be it comics about Neil Armstrong’s corpse, or generally being metal AF, Jake is a guy with considerably hefty night moves. He’s had work published in periodicals such as Westword and the Denver Public Library comics newspaper, and has been labeled a “street artist” by Westword magazine.
Cori Redford was born several years ago, and still has not lost her faith in humanity. She still thinks dick jokes are funny, and dresses like a toddler. She hangs out with a bunch of groovy art kids, who battle with drawings instead of guns or dance like regular gangs. She is cool.
Melanie Gillman is a nonbinary cartoonist who makes YA comics for queer and trans readers. In the past, they’ve written for the Steven Universe comic book series, and their latest book, As the Crow Flies, was just designated a Stonewall Honor Book by the American Library Association.

Zak Kinsella is a Denver cartoonist, and pro wrestling activist. He makes a pretty sweet comic called Outré Veil and has made a lot of tight posters for stand up comedy events. At different times in his life he has seen spooky ghosts, and UFOs…but not one Bigfoot. He does not believe the Earth is flat.
Noah Van Sciver is an Ignatz award-winning cartoonist. He is a regular contributor to MAD Magazine and has created five graphic novels including The Hypo: The Melancholic Young Lincoln, Saint Cole, and the Fante Bukowski: Struggling Writer graphic novella series for Fantagraphics books.
Award-winning cartoonist Karl Christian Krumpholz’s work has appeared in many different publications and even a documentary. He is currently working on two weekly comics: The Denver Bootleg, which examines local musical history for Denver’s Westword, and 30 Miles of Crazy! – the true-ish tales of the various lives in the city. Karl is always looking for a better place to get a drink.
